ÞÓRDÍS ZOËGA

These paintings are from my travels and show scenes which have caught my attention. I have taken part in many group exhibitions and also held two solo exhibitions on the subjects of furniture and utilitarian art.

I studied design at Skolen for Brugskunst in Copenhagen from 1976 to 1981 and the use of watercolour was a part of those studies. I have since worked in furniture design and taught design at the Reykjavik Technical College. More recently I have picked up my brushes again and started to revisit the art of watercolour.
