ÞÓRDÍS ZOËGA
Þórdís has participated in numerous group exhibitions and held two solo exhibitions on furniture design and applied art. She has also participated in exhibitions of watercolours. She completed her studies in furniture and interior design in 1980 at the School of Applied Arts in Copenhagen, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture and postgraduate studies in furniture design and lighting studies at the same university.
Þórdís completed studies in pedagogy at the secondary level at the Iceland Academy of the Arts Iceland in 2004 and taught design at the Technical College in Reykjavík, among others. Watercolour was a part of my design studies and lately I have attended courses in watercolour painting both in Iceland and abroad.
