We were visited by the founder and owner of the Seattle based paint company, Daniel Smith. The watercolours produced by this company are now widely used by well known watercolour artists. A number of our members have already been introduced to their products although they are still not available here in Iceland. The range of pigments they provide is extremely large and can be overwhelming to many artists.

After the meeting we were given the offer of receiving the whole selection of their watercolour products and a few weeks later this shipment materialised. We arranged to give all members the opportunity to try these 256 colours themselves at several paint-ins during the following months.
