Halldóra was first introduced to watercolours when she was 4 years old and her grandfather gave her the first set of watercolours which kindled her interest. She has spent time on her art in the the US, Italy and in Iceland. Halldóra has widely held courses and exhibitions. 

Her paintings can be found in private collections in Iceland, Italy, Canada, USA and Denmark
