The seventh annual group exhibition of the Icelandic Watercolour Society was opened in Gallery Göng. The exhibition featured 61 works by 50 artists. About 190 guests came to celebrate with us. The musical performance was also well received by the guests. The exhibition committee appointed a three-member jury of professionals from outside the association to select images for the exhibition. This time the jury consisted of Aðalsteinn Ingólfsson, Eudes Correia and Ingibjörg Hauksdóttir. Each member could submit up to three photos. In total 205 photos were received from 73 artists, which is a record number for the association. The exhibition was praised for its variety and high standard by those who visited.
